Successfully farming organic strawberries begins with obtaining the most vigorous, healthy plants available. Whether we are selecting strawberry plants from the country’s top nurseries or propagating transplants from seed, our commitment to planting strong, healthy plants is critical to producing high-quality crops year-round.

We carefully choose the right acreage to optimize growing conditions. Farming across diverse ranches in the Santa Maria Valley allows us to utilize the area’s range of soil, water, and climate conditions, ensuring a thriving harvest.

Our commitment to excellence continues through harvest. Using our own in-house crews, we maintain strict oversight of the entire process. Quality control supervisors work daily to inspect and monitor every pack, ensuring it meets the unique needs of each customer. This hands-on approach guarantees that only the freshest, highest-quality produce leaves our fields.

By combining sustainable farming practices and careful harvesting, we grow exceptional berries. Our commitment to quality continues through expert cooling and shipping, ensuring your berries arrive fresh and ready to enjoy.

Cooling & Shipping

Once our berries are handpicked and carefully inspected in the fields, the journey to freshness continues. Our produce is rapidly cooled at our own facility to lock in quality before being shipped. Located just minutes from our fields off Highway 166, our 32,000-square-foot cooling facility ensures proper handling from harvest to delivery.

Upgraded and expanded in 2012, the cooler supports our operations and provides services to other growers and shippers in the region. This streamlined process guarantees that only the freshest berries make their way to your stores and tables.
